RULES GOVERNING STATE PLAYOFFS AMENDED 9/00
GENERAL FOULS:
The commission
of a General Foul causes the Team that commits the foul the loss of the next dart. If the Team that committed the foul takes
the game Out in the same round that the foul was committed, the Player and/or Team will be credited with a loss of game. (Round
is being defined as from the Players turn committing the foul to that same Players turn again.)
A.
Use of foul, abusive, and sexually degrading language directed at an opposing Team member at any time during the match.
B.
Use of foul or abusive language towards the Host Establishment an /or playoff Officials.
C. Distressing
behavior while an opponent is at the throw line.
D. Guidance given to a Player during play by anyone
not involved in that game. (Only the team Captain or the players partner may offer guidance to the player at the throw line.)
E. No props will be used while Shooting. (Wheel chairs and/or crutches, for medical reasons, will
not be considered as props.)
F. If a Players foot crosses the throw line prior to the dart leaving
His/Her hand.
