RULES GOVERNING STATE PLAYOFFS AMENDED 9/00

TECHNICAL FOULS:

POOR SPORTSMANSHIP
UNETHICAL CONDUCT
ABUSE OF EQUIPMENT
TILT OF MACHINE

All of these actions constitute a Technical Foul and the immediate loss of the game. Two (2)Technical Fouls committed by the same person in the same match will result in the expulsion of that Player for the remainder of the match. The Team losing the Player may fill His/Her positions using one of the substitute Players on their roster, as long as the Team remains within the point system, or complete the game per Rule 8. G.(page 3 WSSTDA General Rules).

B. It is the Players responsibility to make sure that the machine is displaying His/Her playing turn and that the throw Dart Light is on prior to throwing their darts. If the error is caught prior to the Player throwing all Three(3) darts, then any darts thrown that score on an opponents score are considered thrown darts for the Players turn. The opponent keeps whatever score they are given, and the layer that threw the darts in error does not get to re-throw or score any mis-thrown darts. The Player can then reset the machine to His/Her score and throw the remaining darts for their turn. If all Three (3) darts were thrown then the opponent has the choice of:

1. Accepting that score and allowing play to continue.

2. Reset the machine to the Players correct playing position, letting that Player shoot again and then continuing the game.

EXAMPLE: - Player #3 mistakenly throws on Player #4s score: Player #4 can accept that score and the game advances to Player #1.

Result: Player #3 has lost Three(3) darts.---OR---
The board can be reset to Player #3 and that Player may throw again, this time on His / Her score, and the game continues. Result: Player #4 receives a double scoring opportunity in that round.

C. A Player must make sure that the Player Change Button is pushed before removing His/Her darts. If the Player receives additional points scored on their score, then the Players partner loses up to Three (3) darts, depending on how many darts scored while being removed from the board.

D. In Team doubles play, if a Player throws on His/Her partners score then that Team loses the next Three(3)darts.

E. If the Team that committed the foul takes the game Out in the same round that the foul was committed, the Player and/or Team will be credited with a loss of game. (Round is being defined as from the Players turn committing the foul to that same Players turn again.)

F. Two (2) Technical Fouls in One (1) game by a Team member will result in the loss of that game.

G. Three (3) Technical Fouls committed in any match by a Team will result in the loss of the match and a forfeiture score.
